Sweet rainbow target toned Lincoln.. HUGE new pics!!!

Picture taken by my buddy so it sucks. It's an after market year set and all of the coins have some toning but the Lincoln is the nicest. He bought the set for $15 and I think he did good. It's his first toned coin purchase except for an AT'ed ASE he picked up on ebay a while back.

Like the look of that one.

Is the reverse toned or full red?

That's a real nice one both from color and the design the toning took on.

Your guess is as good as mine on the grade. I haven't seen it in hand. I'll get an image of the reverse tomorrow maybe. He works nights at KGW in Portland. He's the news directror for the 10'oclock news.

  • New pic of all of the coins. The reverse on all of them are pretty much tone free. Must have been the ink in the colored side of the holder. It's made of corrigated (sp?) cardboard.

You need to post this over where you got the grade from, craton isn't allowed to play in this sandbox any longer.

    Pretty Lincoln, though. image

I was just informed that this Lincoln is only the THIRD Memorial to currently hold a coveted STAR designation...cool!

Thanks for everyone's comments and PMs.

Doug, you mean for mintstate examples, right?

It would think NGC has STAR'ed a few Proof Memorials...
