Anyone going to Moeller HS for...

....... the Sports Card Show this weekend? I have never been to it, but am thinking about going on

speeder......here are the directions from Moeller's website.

From Southbound I-71:  Get off at Exit 14 (Ronald Reagan Highway).  Turn left off the exit and continue east on Ronald Reagan Highway.  Get in the right lane.  Follow signs for Southbound Montgomery Rd.  Turn right at the stop sign.  Go through stop light and Moeller High School will be on the right.

According to the local weatherman, the weather is to be great this weekend.

Thanks for all the info rbdjr1.

You obviously got a different flyer than the one I received in the mail.

  • Thanks piman
    Thanks rbdjr1

I used to take a ton of Johnny Bench out of there.

  • Very nice rbdjr1.
I never had the chance to see a game there. I grew up in NE Ohio and still love my often pathetic Indians.
I did have split NL loyalties to both the Reds and the Pirates. The Pirates received more of the attention after
the 1970 All Star game. Fosse's career was never really the same after that game.
  • I will be there tommorow when it opens. I've never been to this show even though I only live about 5 minutes from there.

It would be nice to meet some of guys maybe we could all hook up and go for a beer or something afterwards?

My daughter was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 2 (2003). My son was diagnosed with Type 1 when he was 17 on December 31, 2009. We were stunned that another child of ours had been diagnosed. Please, if you don't have a favorite charity, consider giving to the JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation)

    I remember that HS name?

Didn't they have a coach named Foust, Fouts or something like that who coached Notre Dame for a bit?

And talking about Ohio HS FB...

I had family in Steubenville - Steub. "Big Red" - these guys take their FB very, very seriously!

I went to a game when I was in college - in a town of 10K, 12 thousand showed for the game!

I hope you guys have a good time.
    Happy Thanksgiving

  • hey Mike

I think maybe its biggest claim to fame maybe that Ken Griffey Jr. went to high school there.

They have reds stuff you would not see at a national show !!

Gerry Faust was the coach who went from Moeller to Notre Dame (and probably regretted it)
