I think if you want one to keep you could get one cheaper later on. For $3800 you could buy 15 raw sets and send in the reverse proofs for grading and probly get at least one 70 and some 69's.

May get some cash back too in a CLASS action lawsuit for the First strike fiasco going on ... I am sure its just the tip of the ice burgh as they say on that matter. Its indiviual suits now but I am sure some lawyer will put a class action together and contact all owners of such coinage.
So buying First stike coins may not be a bad idea at this time.

Make sure it is a 1st strike ..the reg 20th Anniv label PCGS 69 Rev is about $$$ 2,000 less than the 1st strike

IMHO, the value of these (first strike or not) is going nowhere but down. I'd wait for more favorable pricing.

he is talking about PR70, not 69 and that is the difference in price.
