Some Litesiders pointed this out. Looks nice. Not cheap, and will probably cost dearly to ship, but I thought it was neat.

Nice cabinet but I think my coins are happier in a nice hardened steel safe. I wait that's me that's happier with them in a safe.

Yeah, our library got rid of their old card catalogs, which were massive. My father is the director of the library and I told him I wanted to buy them but apparently told him too late. They would've been awesome. A lot of libraries are going over to computerized cataloging now (ours actually did long ago), and that's food for thought, Darksiders.

When I visited danglen in Black Mountain he had a couple in the workroom area of his shop that were very similar to the ones our library had.

We now have about 14 old library card catalog pieces of furniture with about 500 drawers. They make great storage units for coins!

You need a MANS cabinet like I picked up recently. I am currently lining the drawers with padding and black, faux suede lining....beautiful with the solid, quarter-sawn oak.

I hope all your coins are slabbed otherwise all that oak will give you some really interesting toning. Raw coins and wood do not make very good bedfellows. Mahogany is the recommended because the oils in it are suppossed not to effect the coins.
