Would you send your coin to SGS??

They claim that SGS currently accounts for 7% of all Graded Coins sold on the internet auction site eBay.
How can this be true???
Their grading prices are as low as you can get....hard to make a profit at those prices.
I'm sorry, but a Web site that has one page and claims to be 7% of eBay's graded coins seems a bit far-fetched.
SGS
I wonder, if the seller Aboncom is the CEO.
He has sold a boat load of coins for sure!

Perhaps a forum member can set me straight.
Thanks in advance.

And no, I'd never send a coin to them for certification. What would be the point? I can slap a 70 on it myself.
The fact that you have suspicions shows a keen sense of perception. You don't need to apologize for them.
I'm just going to get some popcorn.

No, never.
Nor would I ever sell a coin in one of their holders. I would rather crack it out and sell it raw. That's the mark of a truly stinky grading service, when you won't even accept a plastic holder if it has their name on it.

Well, while I agree this outfit is fourth-world, what about DHRC and PCGS? Even if there's no scam there -- and I have no reason to think there is -- isn't the potential conflict of interest pretty obvious?

Have you by any chance checked out the return policy of the two?

That's been brought up before...I believe that HRH has stated, or someone asked and it was stated, that he has no hand in the operations/business in order to stay clean. It may not even be his anymore (I honestly don't know)....could just be the name was bought.
Anyone know for sure?
I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment
Hmmm. Let me think about that for a minute......send it to WHO??? For what??
Newbie question from the baseball card world--- I know we rank it PSA -SGC-GAI etc... what is the pecking order with grading coin companies?

When did they dump the foil and go to "SUPER SEALED"?
