Canadian Token brockage error

Here's an interesting cull I've had for a while. It came out of a mixed bag of world coins.
Obv

Rev

Here's what I can see:
It's a Province of Canada, Bank of Montreal 1/2 penny bank token. Dated either 1842, 1844 or 1845 (very unlikely), but you cannot see the date or much other than some reverse and incused words possibly caused by the brockage or some coins and a hammer.
Obv, has CANADA in the upper left, and an O opposite of it to the right.
Rev, has Token at the top left and HALF at the bottom right.
The pictures are not lined up well, but the real coin in hand has a medal coining alignment.
Any comments?

a coin like it only in much better condition sold at the last TOREX show in Toronto too, which helped me identify it
