Best:
Broncos at Chiefs
Not a great matchup but Tony Romo might be the next big QB star in the making:
Bucs at Cowboys
A turkey team who always plays on Thanksgiving, what could be more appropriate?:
Dolphins at Lions

Oh yeah -- NFL Network is part of my expanded basic package!!
There are always 2 games on thanksgiving...no one is missing those.
And honestly, how many football fans don't have direct tv and sunday ticket?
<< <i>This stinks - the NFL is going to make a lot of fans angry by using them to blackmail the cable companies into adding their silly NFL Network like it's ESPN. Most of the big cable companies are not going to carry the late game tommorrow, mine (Charter) included. Do we really need an NFL Network anyway? Just put the game on with one of their broadcast partners (who they get $3 Billion a season from, that's not enough?) so we can all see it. >>
Well, Steinbrenner blackmailed our cable company (Cox) into carrying YES as part of expanded basic, and they jacked up our cable bill $3 for the privilege. At least I will WATCH NFL network.
I really like the tradition of the game in Detroit and Dallas, both have great fan bases.
<< <i>Not sure why this is such a big deal.

How many? I would say millions. Hard core NFL fans probably have direct TV or sunday ticket, the more casual fan probably doesn't.
Until Comcast puts the NFL network on a basic or expanded basic tier of channels I'm afraid I will have to miss those games.
It is a game of chicken going on between certain cable systems and the NFL and it is possible it will get resolved before the end
of the season.
In the meantime I will have to miss those games, its OK, I will survive.

There's only about 15,000,000 Direct TV subscribers, so that means millions still don't have it. Besides, you now get 3 games (regardless if you have Direct TV or not) today instead of 2. I mean, how can someone not see the benefit of this

There are a lot of football fans who don't have direct tv and sunday ticket (me for one). Why do you think sports bars that have it are so popular on sundays? I live in an apartment and am not allowed to mount a satellite dish on my building. I go to a local sports bar every weekend for the games. Unfortunately, the sports bars are closed today, so that option's gone, leaving the sports bar crowd out in the cold

<< <i>my cable company (dish) has nfl network as part of its basic package and its my favorite station! i dont really like the fact that they are gonna have games on there just because i dont really like the announcers...but its a great channel! >>
I take it you are not a Bryant Gumbel fan.

Given that one NFL game is essentially unrecognizable from another, why would anyone want to watch three in a row?
Go outside and play catch with your kids. Or go rake the yard.
<< <i>This was certainly the best sign of the Thanksgiving day NFL games, if not my favorite sign ever:
>>
Agreed. I saw that and howled-- and I'm not really the type of guy to laugh at something happening on my TV set.
