20th Annv ASE - which way is better to sell?

Let's say that the Rev Proof is graded... PCGS 1st Strike 20th Anniversary Pr69
The Unc and the regular proof are ungraded (set was opened so they couldn't get either of the designation labels).

Better to sell the set together (even though only 1/3 part is graded) or sell individually?

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

    Right now, it looks like the prices are soft for these graded coins. My reverse proof in 70 sold for $4200 last night. There were two MS 69's that sold for $600 and $585 and both WERE 20th Anniversary First strikes too! Probably do better as a set and maybe wait until after the holidays and taxes come back, if you can wait that long. Good luck! Ray

  • 2 raw coins+ box = $50+
    PR69 = $350
    -------------------
    Total = $400+

    Splitting them up may be the way to go.

    My bad!!! I thougt you were talking about GOLD eagles. I don't know about silver but have some unopened boxes of them sitting here. One of these days off they go to PCGS. I might win the lottery?! LOL Good luck. Ray

    Thanks...I'm going to be selling 2 of these "sets" for a friend (as well as the gold set... RP70-PR69dcam-MS69) and was wondering.
    He kind of wants them to go as a set but I think they will go for more individually...he said it is up to me as he doesn't do ebay or know much about the market.

    Ray...nice 1887 MS66 reverse you are showing, but dude, your sig pics are TOO large man! Hard to actually read your post (and out of guidelines).....it really looks nice, but way too large image

    (and, I did see your AGE RP70 sell....was watching that as my friend, as mentioned, has that set to sell as well.......I have seen them soften....I told him to sell it over a month ago but he wanted to relish owning the gold set).
