<< <i>You guys already have them (correct?)! Why not give someone who's short on ms67 72-d's, like me a chance! >>
When I buy a coin I already have, I do it for the possibility of an upgrade to a nicer coin. I compare the new coin with the one I currently own, keep the best one and sell the other. I do not hoard duplicates to prevent others from improving their sets. I know James also does not hoard duplicates. If he did, I wouldn't have some of the low pop coins that I currently own. I am always looking to improve my set whether it is an upgrade in grade or just an upgrade to a nicer coin with the same grade. I have a duplicate MS67 1976-D Type 2 for sale if anyone is interested.
Right, I know you wouldn't keep 2 of them. Of course I too would like to get the nicest possible one. (That's what's cool about getting coins graded yourself. I got 21 of the 44 ms67rd 81-d cents graded. I can say I had the best choice of 21!).

Apparently there is no new MS-67 specimen.
Didn't this same thing happen awhile back with a 73-P?
