Who would you recommend speaking to in PSA customer service?

Julius has not been returning calls and not following through on promises with regards to my refused package in October, can anyone recommend someone to that may be helpful in correcting this problem?

Any help would be appreciated.

There's a Carolyn (I think her last name is Castillo) who I have always found very helpful.

The basic rule is to avoid the men. There's one male there who actually cares, and the rest, IMO, are petulant bongjockeys.
  • fastest solution.....email the man himself...

Whom should I talk to about checking to see if a case has been tampered with? I bought a $500 card from ebay. I got it about a month ago and finally had time this weekend to scan it for insurance purposes. When I scanned it the light reflected strangely on the edges. When I looked closed it is clear that the seal had been cracked. The seller is mainly does toys, so he is playing the "I don't know" routine. I filed a complaint with Paypal just to cover myself. The seller told me that he would honor PSA's opinion.

I sent a scan to PSA to see if they could tell. The scan clearly shows a clouded seal all along the edges. I live in SoCal, so I can make it down there to have them look at it. The one thing I am afraid of is letting PSA physically look at it and have them crack it out before I can talk to the seller. I remember the problem that caused for the guy who had the Orr RC last year.

I'll post a scan later when I get home.

jayhawke - I think if you search Orr and tampered, it will come up. In summary, he bought an Orr RC that had the label switched. He noticed a wrinkle in the card and sent it to PSA for an opinion. PSA realized that the case had been tampered with and the label switched. PSA cracked the card out and sent it back to the guy with a scan and letter explaining what they did. Eventually it worked out, but it was a long drama. PSA basically destroyed the evidence caused the buyer some problems.

    It was a long thread.

Patrick- don't know why it didn't go thru to me, but thanks.

I don't know if that is really fair. I've had nothing but satisfaction in my dealings with Andre Spicer, who was efficient and followed thru every time. And going back a few years Charlie Kahler (sp?) was excellent.
But when I have experienced poor service and a lack of following thru it has been with male employees. Probably because there are more of them in CS.

  • I had email corespondence with Kristie Gallant and she was very helpful. I say this because the last three subs have had cards kicked back for one reason or another. Mostly because they are very infrequently graded and kicked back because Tthe graded thought PSA didn't grade the cards. In all three instances she has taken care of it for free and sent me a voucher for my postage. On the flip side to that I thought I would be proactive this time and sent scans (front only) to her to ensure this wouldn't happen again and received the reply that I should reference the PSA website for acceptable cards PSA graded. Overall good customer service.

Andre was the one male I was thinking of when I said there's one there who actually cares.

Unfortunately (for me, certainly not him) the last time I called and asked for Andre I was told he had been promoted from customer service. He certainly deserved it.
