PSA Grading submission questions

I was reading this month’s Collectors Club Grading Special #2. With this special you can turn in Autograph cards from the manufacturer dated 1998 to present. What it does not say is if you have to put Autograph cards on a separate form from the raw cards. Also it says you have to have a 25 card minimum. Is that for the whole order or per submission form? I know how fussy PSA are so I don’t want to make. Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks, Jim

The auto cards are put on the same sub form as long as they are 98 to present.

your order/sub is the same thing. you need at least 25 cards

    hope this helps

  • Hi Matt,

Thanks again for your help. You did answer my autograph question, but I am still not quite sure about the order/sub part. Let’s say I am submitting 10 cross over cards, which will have their own submission form. Then I have 30 cards between raw and autograph cards, which will go on another submission form. Does this add up to a 40 card order or does the cross over order only add up to 10 cards and can't be used with this special? I plan on sending all the cards together. Sorry if I sound a little thick. I just don't want to make a mistake and have my order held up.

I still can't login. I wouldn't mind if I could change the password to something I can memorize. PSA gave me a bunch of letters that I could never memorize. That is the only thing that is making this difficult on me.

    Thanks again, Jim

    Hey Jim

If you can get into your profile you can change your password.

You should crack the cards, that way they can be included in the special. If you dont crack them, then yes it will have to go on another sub form being a seperate "order"

You can send two subs in one box to psa, just fill out the top of the form where it asks how many subs are in the box.

Use this link for your extra cards

  • Thanks for your help Matt! I really appreciate it. You are a very nice person, plus you are funny. I bet the ladies go crazy for you, they like that in us men.

I wanted to send the cards in the holders because they are 10 Gem Mint so I was hoping that PSA would see that and take it into account when they are grading.

How do I go to my profile? I can't find a button for that.

    Thanks again, Jim

Thanks Jim. The only ladies in my life are my three little girls and my wife. I drive them crazy in my own special way image

    What company graded them?

  • Matt, I am embarrassed to tell you the grading companies. These are before I knew any better.

Want an even better laugh? The one from Pre-Grading the card could be changed. I didn’t even notice that on the eBay listing. I saw that when it came in the mail. I could not get a hold of the seller after that.

See I knew you were a ladies man. You have 4 in your life. What can be more precious then that?

I looked at your Aikman registry. Are you going to try to complete it? Aikman is one of my favorite players. He and Irvin helped me win my fantasy league twice in the 1990’s

I would seriously consider cracking them out of those slabs. Its not gonna help one bit. To psa those companies are a joke and those cards will be scutinized even more than raw ones.

I hope to complete my Emmitt, Aikman and I requested an Irvin set as well image
  • Matt, thanks again for your help. I really appreciate it. I am going to take your advice and take them out. I didn't think of the way you put it. I want you to know I did not send any of these cards in. They were all bought on eBay before I knew any better.

Good luck with your registries. Do you by raw cards and get them graded or do you buy them already graded? Also I saw an email address on the Aikman registry. Is that your email address? If yes do you check it? The reason I ask is I have to take my dogs out now, but want to talk to you more. I just can’t anymore tonight.

    Take care,
    Jim

I buy already graded and raw. I hardly buy raw because it usually ends in disappointment. I buy alot of unopened stuff as well and pick the best to send in for grading.

Yes, I check my email all the time.

I have crossed some from other compainies as well. But I always crack them out. Its cheaper that way.
