Is it me or is ESPN overdoing things a little bit with this whole "Judgement Day" thing and having a countdown clock? I know it's a big game, but what's with the whole judgement?
I'm sure after the game, they'll have everybody and their brother who works at ESPN "breaking down" the game for us.....even the people who didn't even watch it!
As far as the loser playing in the National Championship too.......they should! Think about it.......you were ranked at the top the entire season, your only loss came the last game of the season against the #1 or #2 ranked team, depending on who losses. Why should you be jumped over in the end by another one loss team, just because you lost on the last week? I'm not counting on a rematch though, because the crazy BCS and their horrible computers will probably jump Notre Dame in front of Michigan if they win out even though they beat Notre Dame.

<< <i>Forgot about that.......tell me again why they have so many ESPN faces at Monday Night Football games? Do we really need to hear that many opinions? Can someone teach Chris Berman how to breath while he talks. I'm kind of missing Dennis Miller right about now! >>
They have them because it is a weekly showcase game for the network and they probably figure the more familiar faces they have
connected with the game the better they can sell it. It is all in the marketing plan for the network, whether that is a good plan
or not is an open question.
