NGC 65 MO B Gold Peso

I picked up on an internet auction for $300 net. What do these things go for anyway. Did I overpay? Underpay? Or at the market?

  • I don't know about an MS65, but I bought an 1896 MoM NGC MS64 a couple of months ago for $175. Krause has the two (MoM and MoB) valued the same at $185 in UNC.

Geez they seem cheap, but you can thankfully say that about alot of darkside.

  • Mintage shows as a total of 7,166 for both the MoB and MoM varieties which doesn't seem like all that many. On the flipside though, there probably aren't a lot of people putting together date/mint/assayer collections of these.
