Should I buy this wax box?

1978 OPeeChee Topps Baseball wax box. Totally untouched. Packs examined carefully, all look good.

$200. Is it worth it?

I have no idea what these go for, so any help would be appreciated. FYI, I can also get a '79 OPC box for about the same price.

Sounds like a good deal to me if they are in as good of shape as you say.

I paid $200 for my 78 OPC box and pulled two Murray rookies that are at PSA now. Paid $155 for a 79 OPC box which had terrible cuts and basically were lousy cards. Bought them from the same dealer. $200 is decent for the 78 set but too high for the 79 wax box.

Go for it, what's the worst that happens...you get 36 packs to rip! If you get a nice the Molitor and Murray those will pay for the box.

OR

Grade 2 of the best packs and RIP the rest!!!!

I bought one a few months ago from bbx and cards were mostly off center, pulled a lot of stars though! I am sending 10 or so in for this months special

I've started dabbling in the 1978 OPC set, and the boxes on ebay are selling in the $180-220 range, so if you can get one for $200 from a reputable dealer, I'd say go for it.

And of course if you are looking for a buyer for your best pulls...
