1916 D MERCURY DIME FIND

A number of years, ago, I dug up this nice 1916 D Merc in a local park. Being young and inexperienced in coin collecting, I decided to polish it with Simichrome polish. The picture of the front and the back of the coin have different backgrounds and both sides also have different toning. Due to lighting, perhaps?

I've come very close to hit a 1916-D.

I have damaged a few beauties myself, I try now to dig a very big hole and my pin pointing is alot better. This is a 1877-s Trade Dollar I dug at about 6" under a 3" thich root...what can you say?
