Icon upload is on! -- Which icon should I choose?

I probably killed a bored hour photoshopping this Irish Uprising proof twenty different ways. Now I can't choose which of the variants to use!

Which do you guys prefer? The first pair is the unadulterated version. The bottom two reverses use the obverse legend.

I decided to load a new icon on the spur of the moment. May go back to my Globe conder at some point though.

Thanks for the input guys! Looks like I'll go with my first choice (isn't that what they always told us in school!). And, Stork, I've saved that one for next time

Seems not as many of use change our icons as often as we used to? I remember the mad rushes and long threads we used to have every time the 15th rolled around, but not so much anymore...

I liked the top middle and bottom middle ones, with the black background.
