I don't know if any of the rest of you remember this commercial, but it's a 1995 MLB commercial that went something like this:

(both Bip Roberts and Tony Gwynn are in the dugout)

Bip (holding a fictious Bip Roberts RC): Check it out, Bip Roberts rookie card, currently valued at $200. Ten years from now, who knows? $1000? $2000? Maybe even...

Tony (looking through a price guide): Hey man, you're looking at Robin Roberts' rookie card. It says here your card's worth four cents!

(Bip is in shock as he sees Tony is right)

Bip: Yo T! Four cents, if it's in Excellent condition, but ten cents if it's totally Mint!

Tony: Well, sorry...

Is there a video of this commercial anywhere? I can't find it on YouTube. image And incidentally, I wonder if baseball players really do compare each others card values in the clubhouse. image

I remember that commercial. I was about 14 and for a second I was scrambling to find my Bip Roberts rookie cards.

Sick joke to play on a kid.

Now the question is, did anyone on YouTube or something ever had the heart to post this commercial on the Internet?
