Somebody please buy 707sportscards stuff

on eBay! It's hard to even do a decent search right now he's got so many items! I know several of you have said he's a quality dealer, but everything is BIN for pretty ridiculous prices. Page after page after page after page... If he put those cards up for auction I'd love it, but only I only see overpriced BINs on nice cards.

    Here is the "anti-Levi" that I've successfully employed on eBay....

    At the end of your search keywords, simply type -707sportscards

    This will omit his auctions from your search.

    The worst part...it's just a fraction of what he really has....lol

    go to a major show and as for a 52 Topps Mantle.......you might see one here or there....go to Levi's cases and be prepared to look at 20-30 of them!!

    he's got stuff like there's no tomorrow.....

    Thanks! I was wondering if there was a way to do that!

    Tonight, he had overpriced card after overpriced card clogging things up for pages at a time. He really goes fishing for people that don't know any better on these cheap listing days.

    Nah, it has nothing to do with cheap listing days. Those same cards can be found for the same insane prices any day on his website.

    Bri, that's true - but then, I can easily avoid them by not going to his site (or his table, at the shows he does). A .10 day is the only time he rolls them all out, jacked up prices and all, on Ebay.

    It is the growing Trend (bad) to have Buy it now rediculous prices instead of an auction......

    most the searches i do now are 1/2 buy it now.....

    search t206 johnson...all buy it now! not 1 auction!

    if this is the trend i guess i will be finding another place other then EBAY to buy cards.....

    very dissapointing this BUY IT NOW trend...

    At least being able to use BIN is better than having to wait for DAYS hoping and praying no one will outbid you. image

    The buy it now trend is something that I think is here to stay unfortunatley!!

    There is just so much up there that there are volumes and volumes of stuff to buy....alot of auctions get overlooked even by people who are strong bidders of certain cards.

    It's hard..but week after week of getting low bids and not much activity on auctions....most people have gone to a buy it now mentality in order to protect themselves and their investments.

    I know for certain there have been cards, that I had up for auction, in the past 2 months that MOSH and a couple of other big buyers needed. The auctions ended and some of the cards went unbid...or for rediculously low prices!! Only after the auctions were over did I get the.." in the future, if you have cards that you think I need..please let me know in advance of putting them online!!"

    How many of us have gotten those emails??

    There's just too much stuff to sift through...and not enough time to dedicate to searching for it ALL...hence the buy it now

    I agree, just in the last couple weeks I have picked up cards for my set registry, that a few months ago, I would have been happy paying 4 times More than what I got them for. I think with Snipe bid and and the volume , you will see more BIN and higher opening bids on auctions, card I sold awhile back made me sick , had sold one 4 months ago went off at 125.00 a few weeks ago same card same grade goes off at 57.00. I for one will be starting more of my auctions with a higher opening bid or the BIN option, or with a reserve. If I want to give cards away I'll go to the local school and hand them out. Just moo
