Staples - Deal on padded envelopes

Been selling cards lately (which I enjoy more than buying them I think). Anyway, went to my local Staple's today and they had a closeout on the 5 x 9 Staple's padded envelopes. 10 for $1.50. Great deal if any of you are selling cards on the Bay! I don't know if this is all Staple's or just this one!? Great deal though! I think they are normally $6.50 for 10.

ahh up in sactown. a bit too far for me. I went to school in uc davis so I've been to that area. i sometimes venture to a good sushi place over there(called Mana's). well if im in the area anytime soon i will check out that staples!(for some reason i thought u lived in the san jose area).

all the Staples here in central, MA had the same deals...

THEN Wham.....they no longer stock them and they have their exclusive brand....at $7.95......

I always used them in a pinch....but now..I'll have to make sure that I buy them by the 500 ct case..

I buy that size by the case. Case has 250 and it works out to 13 cents each.

Sorry for the slow reply. I have a new client that is using up much of my day. As a trade off I am making a ton of cash so I guess it is a fair deal. I buy my shipping supplies direct from a box factory about 40 minutes from where I live. Below is a list of the most common supplies I use and what I pay for them:

boxes:
6x6x6 – 21 cents
8x8x8 – 28 cents
9x7x5 – 24 cents
12x9x6 – 30 cents


5x9.25 bubble mailer – 13 cents
20 cu. ft anti-static S shaped white styro peanuts - $17

On Ebay one can find 100 000s for about $16.50 shipped, or slightly lower per-envelope prices for larger quantities. I'd say 10 for $1.50 is a pretty good find for retail
