LINK - ONE OF A KIND SET OF 12 NBA PHOTO PINS

Saw this on eBay. Looks like it my be the 1974 Picture Buttons listed in Beckett, but not sure. Anybody ever seen the '74 buttons? He talks about the ones on auction being produced in 1966, which cannot be correct (Maravich didn't go pro until 1970). This guy wants $15K!!! Is it just me who smells a scam? Anyone think he's setting it absurdly high to add credibility to it's authenticity?

By the way, I brought up some of these questions to him and here's his response:

My first instinct is to run. Then I read his response and his lack of feedback and changed it to run, fast.
Wilts last season was '72-73, I think Kareem changed his name in '70-71, so it's got to be somewhere in there.
I've got button machine in a drawer somewhere, and a large format hi resolution printer, anyone want a set of these? I figure I can get at least 10K since they are rare!

What's worse than the scam he's trying to pull is the fact that he doesn't know the difference between a period and a comma.

It's also funny, 'cuz it looks like maybe HE picked them up at a flea market.
