Cards for my nephew....

Hello all! I hate to post this, but my wife said I should take a chance at some maybe generous hearts!!! This year my wife and I have had to cut down on spending and because of that the idea of getting a collection started for my nephew has had to go on hold. My nephew, Aiden, really wants baseball cards for Christmas this year. He's too young to know what's worth what and doesn't really care.
So, if anyone has any dup's laying around or any cards at all they want to get rid of just because of what ever reason, I'd like to put a collection together for him. I know that it's asking a lot, but if anyone is interested just let me know. Thanks so much everyone and Merry Christmas!!!

  • I'll donate my entire "Complete 80s Rip" commons (sans '84 Donruss as those are going to Arny). But that should be pretty cool, he'd get a small representative from each company and year in the 80s. He might not know who most of the players are but you never know. PM me your address and I'll shoot them out to you when we finish ripping.

  • Thanks so much! Just sent a PM. Anyone else interested?

My son has some extra packs of Dinosaurs attack leftover from a box that Stone generously sent him. Is he too old for those?
If not pm me your address.

  • I've had a couple of people PM and ask me about his favorite team or player. He told me tonight that he was a St. Louis fan, no doubt because of the World Series. So, there's your answer everyone who asked. Thanks so much for everyone who is participating!!!

If anyone sends him some T206's, you should inform the lad that he cannot keep them because they came from cigarette packs, and smoking is BAD.

Then tell him to send them to uncle Zef, the smoker.

This should be another lesson. Tell him not to accept anything from uncle Perry if the package smells like coffee. That is what they use to trick the dogs that can sniff out drugs, which also are BAD. Tell him to send that to Zef too..

    heh..

  • Send a PM my way with an address and I'll get a handful out. Hopefully your nephew ends up with a big cache of cards when all add up.

    Cheers,

  • Wow! The response has been fantastic! If there is anyone else who would like to help, we would appreciate it so much. If you have talked with me and decided to help out, you're also more than welcome to attach a note to the cards for my nephew Aidan.
Again, anyone else who might want to give is more than welcome. Thanks everyone for your spirit of giving and generousity!
