I know this is OT and I know that most of you don't care a bit about ancient pottery, but I just had to post this somewhere.
This is a black ware jug from ancient Israel which dates to c. 1000-800 BC. Black pottery from Israel is uncommon, most vessels are buff or terracotta and of course it dates to a very interesting period in the history of Israel. Jugs of this type were wheel-made with an applied handle.
It is Darkside in that it is not from the US and hey, it is dark!
