Brady looks awful, Pats look like....

A non playoff team, I love to spout off about the Pats kicking A$$ but this is getting ugly, 6 picks in 2 weeks, Brady turning the ball over on a possible game tying drive is just plain ugly. The weather yesterday should have played into our favor but we just couldnt put it together, I will tip my hat to the Jets they played a great game. I am confident we will bounce back before its too late..................

    They are in a funk, and if they do not get out of it soon, they will get beat by a surging Packers team.

    I wish I could be distraught about my team's first 2 game losing streak in 4 years. image

  • I wouldnt say that brady looked awful. Remember 3 picks last week were on tipped balls. They did look gunshy... afraid to launch the ball down field. The jets d were getting pressure the entire game... and the Pats seemed happy throwing the 10 yard pass all game.. even though they werent getting any sucess. Why not go for more deep balls.. not just at the end of the game when you need to? If they go for more deep balls.. send Jackson long... then the d cant play right on th receivers. Time for them to get a good chewing from the coach.
  • And why was seymour out of the game the second half? He said it was the coaches decision.

    << <i>First off, I think Tom Brady is the MAN. However, the Patriots philosophy of let's pay everyone the lowest we can because we have Tom Brady and Bil Belicheck and that's all we need, is starting to backfire in my opinion. Losing Ty Law was huge. And losing Branch is starting to show up as a problem in my opinion. And while I would not have paid Branch what Seattle did, his market value was obviously WAY HIGHER than the offer the Patriots made. I might be wrong but I get the impressions that the Patriots front office seems to have the attitude of "We win here so forget about the money and sign with us anyway." That just doesn't work in today's game but with a very few people. I think guys like Brady and Bruschi spoiled the management to some extent by their willingness to take less than market value to stay a Patriot. >>

    Good point Baseball, I agree that they could pursue some bigger names in the free agent market but the front office does have a point though, the Super bowl wins were won by their philosophy of sticking with hard working guys and not "Flashy big money" guys. Brady is the man but imo is in a bit of a funk right now, Im sure they are focusing on next weeks opponent.

    Jets one game behind and own the tie breaker. Quick Patsies need a home game against the Bills.

    I have to admit, that is funny! image

    Well, the fact that Eric Mangini (NY Jets head coach) spent six years with New England (five years as their defensive backs coach and last year as New England's defensive cooridnator), I'm sure didn't hurt the Jets play the Pats equal or better in bad weather games at Foxborough?

    Come on, ...after six years with the Pats, Mangini knows something about New England that other head coaches around the league don't!

    You wonder why Bill Belichick is giving Mangini the "cold shoulder" and will not even speak his name? image

    I'll tell u why: Advantage Mangini: 3 points! image (plus: Belichick needs a hug!)

    Wow! Senerios in South Florida;

    1. If the surging Packers and Farve can take care of business against the Pats this week.

    2. The Dolphins can beat Minnesota (the Vikes don't look that great to me!) here in Florida this week.

    Would u believe the Dolphins would only be two games behind the Pats! Hard to believe! Go fins!

    edit: And the Jets? Not a gimme at home against Chicago either!

    Seems to me Brady and Seymour are sending a message to ownership, management and the coaching staff. Things don't look cum bia like in Beanville.
