Well after clubbing the Bears, beating-up the Chiefs, then stopping the Vikings, and murdering the Lions in Detroit, the Fins come back home and face Jacksonville, and lose at home! Boo whooo!

Jason Taylor unstoppable (Credit: Sun-Sentinel.com)
Jason Taylor did it again.
The veteran defensive end, who many of his teammates call Superman, took over the game in the fourth quarter of the Dolphins' 24-20 win over Minnesota.
His 51-yard interception return for a touchdown late in the fourth quarter with Minnesota driving for the go-ahead score lifted the Dolphins to their third straight win. It truly was a brilliant play and he couldn't have read the screen intended for Chester Taylor any better. He began to rush before dropping back in the throwing lane en route to his seventh career touchdown (He actually banked on Brad Johnson not seeing him behind gigantic offensive lineman Bryant McKinnie).
I know I've been harping on Taylor as being worthy of the Hall of Fame, but what more does he have to do? All he does is make game-changing plays -- consistently. Simply put, he's been dominating. Where would the Dolphins have been this season without him?
Taylor, taken out of the game for three quarters with Johnson taking three-step drops, stripped the ball from Taylor early in the fourth quarter. He also had a sack, two forced fumbles, and deflected a pass to seal the game.
Here's some other observations:
Safety Renaldo Hill, linebacker Derrick Pope and defensive end Matt Roth played well. Hill was forced to shift to nickel cornerback when Will Allen went out early in the second quarter with a groin injury. Hill, who shifted between safety and corner for the balance of the game, returned a fumble 48 yards for Miami's go-ahead score.
Mike Mularkey's spread offense was effective, but why did he get away from it in the second half?
How bad are Minnesota's wide receivers?
Justin Peele's chop block negated Chris Chambers' 51-yard touchdown reception.
Joey Harrington, who notched his first win against Minnesota, did a nice job of managing the game (Sorry if I sound like Nick Saban). Harrington completed passes to seven different receivers, after connecting with eight last week.
The Dolphins won despite having their worst rushing performance in franchise history. The Vikings, ranked No. 1 in the NFL in run defense, held the Dolphins to minus 3 yards rushing in 14 carries. The last time a team won with negative yards rushing was 1961.
Running back Ronnie Brown, who practiced only once this week because of a groin injury, gained two yards on 12 carries. It was pretty obvious Brown wasn't 100 percent, although Saban denied that, blaming the offensive line.
The defense has played well all season, but is finally creating turnovers.
The Dolphins are 3-0 since Yeremiah Bell was inserted into the starting lineup.
The injuries are starting to pile up with Allen, Channing Crowder (hip), David Bowens (knee), Michael Lehan (broken nose) and Travares Tillman (hand) being added to the list. The team already is without Jeno James and Keith Traylor.
Zach Thomas had another solid performance (17 tackles) and helped on a goal-line stand. Pope and Bell also had a big role on that play.
Olindo Mare missed another field goal -- and this one wasn't from 50-plus yards (44 to be exact). His 14 touchbacks on kickoffs lead the NFL, but his nine missed field goals are the most of his career and the most in the league.
Kevin Carter played in his 186th straight game, which is pretty unbelievable.
The playoffs might be a possibility after all, as 9-7 may be good enough to qualify this year.
The Dolphins have the unenviable task of having only three days to prepare for Thursday's game at Detroit, having only one practice and a simplified game plan. The Dolphins have played well on Thanksgiving, and Harrington is eager to face his former team.

<< <i>Go Mammals! Remember, they're not fish (dolphins breathe air, have lungs, nurse their young, and baby dolphins have a little hair around their nose). >>
...FYI: Dolphins are very promiscuous and fornicate every chance they get; "pod sex"!
Fish or mammal, they just love lion meat!

edit: P.S. Jags are 1-3 on the road this year, playing this weekend in Buffalo. Think they will leave Buffalo 1-4 , then Miami will make the Jags 1-5 on the road next week!

Might require surgery by some reports. Could we actually have Sammy Morris and Travis Minor leading the rushing attack?

<< <i>According to reports, Brown may not even miss the game against Jax so I wouldn't worry. >>
Well, Ronnie Brown is out! Patrick Cobbs will be signed from the practice squad and be on the active roster for Sunday's game, writes the Miami Herald. He's expected to play on special teams and provide additional depth behind Sammy Morris and Travis Minor if needed.
Even though Miami has won 4 in a row and will be playing at home this Sunday against Jacksonville (and the Jags are playing horrible as of late!)...
The game is a toss-up without Ronnie Brown.
I expect Miami to "win by a bugger" at home. Running backs, Sammy Morris and Travis Minor, hopefully, will get the job done!
Joey Harrington has his work cut-out for him, without his star running back.
(re: 3-days before gametime!) Las Vegas has Miami favored, now only by a single point at home (....down from 2 1/2 points earlier in the week!)
