By the way, long story short, you don't know how one of those teams does against an OSU/MI/TX/USC etc until they actually play each other. Remember the old saying of "that's why they play the games..."
<< <i>If Rutgers wins out, they should play in the national title game IMO. >>
A very plausible scenario could make it happen:
Rutgers wins out (beats WV, which bolsters computer ranking)
USC beats Notre Dame
UCLA beats USC
The third of these is the least likely, but UCLA tends to be a big spoiler for teams looking to win the national title.
and beat Arkansas. and of course ND is going to be there, isn't God one of the voters?

<< <i>If USC played half the schedule Florida did, they would have 4 losses. What a crock. Thats ok, the Gators will jump then when they play

Florida??? The team who just had to squeak by S. Carolina (5-5/3-5) 17-16 at home??? Florida, the team that prior to that had dominated the mighty Vanderbilt (1-6/4-7) 25-19??? Honestly, who has Florida beaten other than overrated SEC opponents? You talk so much about teams like Michigan and OSU, claiming they play crap teams out of conference but look at Florida. While Michigan was beating teams like Vanderbilt 27-7 (SEC team that sucks, but never loses by much in that overrated conference), Central Michigan 41-17 (MAC champion) & Notre Dame (#2 then and still a top 10 BCS team) at South Bend 47-21, Florida was playing stellar teams like Southern Miss & UCF and still have 2 turds in a bucket left on their schedule... W. Carolina and Florida St. Hell, the SEC leader Arkansas played USC this year and lost 50-14. The SEC is a competitive conference from top to bottom, but their best teams are not the country's best teams.
Oh, and Florida St still sucks...
when Big10 teams meet, throw out their records. They mean nothing many times.
OSU vs Mich
Fl vs Ark
SC vs ND
Rutgers vs West Virgin
Ladies we have a playoff
(If you want peace, prepare for War).........Semper Fi
But to say SEC teams are overated? By the first game Ark had not established their running game yet. You cannot judge a team based on their first game. Look at Cals first game...Slaughtered by UT?
Today if they had a re-match, Cal would whoop UT. Most conferences are ruled by two or three powerhouses. The SEC may not have any powerhouses, but the caliber of the teams is outstanding. Only a few teams in the SEC are considered "bad." The rest are just simply good teams.

a scare every once in a while. If OU or UM plays LSU, Auburn, Tenn, Georgia and Arkansas, you all wouldn't be here talking about
the BCS.
Also funny that OU didn't play Wisconsin..hmmm...Gators play the best in the SEC East AND West and OU plays Kent St and University of
Toledo.

If you mean Ohio State then learn to type OSU... It is not that difficult.
Experience the World through Numismatics...it's more than you can imagine.
We should be thankful he is here to provide us with his comic relief and not in Jail somewhere.
<< <i>Im willing to bet that Florida wouldn't let Ball State score 26 at their home stadium! Everyone plays cupcakes, and everyone has

the BCS.

Joe, you a Florida bandwagoner now the the Criminoles are done??? BTW, I don't see Arkansas on Florida's schedule so they don't exactly play the best in the SEC at all.

they will play when it counts, in the SEC Championship game (which the Big 10 conviently does not have either)

It's possible, but they don't play so I wouldn't care to speculate. I can say that Michigan didn't give up 19 points and over 400 yards to lowly Vanderbilt though (hint: Michigan gave up 7/144). Could Florida say the same?

Why should the Big 10 have an SEC championship game? That seems silly
The Big 10 isn't divided into 2 sides like the SEC, so why would they have a championship game when that's what the season is for?
