User ID's kept private, and $9k with no photos? Something smells fishy to me...

I was just going to link that in a thread but you beat me to it!

Is this a prelude of things to come for the "PCGS perfect set" or just a flash in the pan?
Does this mean the Reverse Proof silver eagles in PCGS 70 are way underpriced at ~5500?? According to the final price of this set, I would say most definitely!

Personally, I believe this to be the real deal.

Looking at the times the final bidders placed their bids, there in no way can be a shill involved. Just too quick for one shill. Maybe 3 different shillers? Highly unlikely. Also, the seller has 100% pos feedback over 600 and has been on ebay for more than 2 years. Looks legit to me, and I have actively been on ebay at least 8 years, so there isn't much ebay hocus pocus I can't see through.

Looks like three individual bidders bid $8500 and more for this set!

I didnt want to comment earlier because i know the seller, and he was also concerned that he wouldnt get paid--but he said the cashiers check came in today, and he is quite happy. This was an honest auction (bidders identities were hidden to keep scammers away), there were 3 different bidders at 8500 and above, and the most determined got the prize. Its what auctions are all about.

I just want ONE set, doesn't even have to be graded. Didn't have the money at the time to order one. Guess I'll be paying a large premium next year.
WTB: Eric Plunk cards, jersey (signed or unsigned), and autographs. Basically anything related to him

Positive BST: WhiteThunder (x2), Ajaan, onefasttalon, mirabela, Wizard1, cucamongacoin, mccardguy1

    Negative BST: NONE!

Cool. I hope those buyers stay around. I find out tomorrow if the 2 Pr70 (RP)s are mine (co-worker and I sent in coins together....his will be easy to be identified due to dots from the die), and, if they are, then I have 2 of the sets like in the OP's link provided. I would be down with selling for around the $8500-$9000 level image

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment
