Interesting Auction

A 1/1 PSA 10 Pete Rose card that doesn't even list Rose in the auction...in the title or description. I'm sure the seller left money on the table with the poor description.

Chris Short...er...Pete Rose.

Not sure what you mean, ajw, the auction you linked isn't for a 71 Rose. Am I missing something?

The centering on the Short card is a little weak (slight tilt) for a PSA 10 and the left edge appears to show some chipping, The Twins team card is awesome, but is the white spot on the left side on the card or is it just my computer?

The buyer is a high roller, bids with abandon, a seller's dream for sure.

Rose is in the background running bases on the Short card. I dont see how it is considered a Rose card though.

Geez, you could get the entire set in NRMT (maybe even NRMT-MT) condition for that price! image I personally would enjoy that far more than a couple of commons with a fancy label. image

some people have more $$ to burn than wood for a hot stove(league). Seems like a lot of $$ for those 2 cards. Seller must be thrilled--
