1 oz gold, with a purple field ? Ill have to research a bit more as to why they did this.

    I could swear I saw a small article in the "Numismatic News" not too long ago on these coins. I'll take a look and see what I find.

    I checked the paris mint site and there's no reference to this that I can see.

    Could not find the NN piece. I think it was just to announce "the sower" coins. I don't remember them mentioning this particular piece.
