1893 Barber Quarter NGC MS64 Toned Shot 65

This is really a gorgeous and PQ coin. It has the amount of contact marks of a 65/66.. absolutely no large dings and only the faintest of luster grazes. Thes luster is flashy and blazes through the toning on both sides. On the obverse the toning is shades of light red and blue on the periphery, with light greens and aqua on the inner regions. On the reverse, the toning is significantly darker, but still attractive... primarily dark shades of red. Toning on the reverse is much darker from 3-9 O'clock than it is from 10-2 O'clock. Coin has a knockout look and I bought it as a shot 65 and paid the price too. I never got around to resubmitting it and now I just want to move it. I guarantee this coin will cross to PCGS as at least an MS64, and it is my personal opinion that it has a 50% chance of getting an MS65 grade from PCGS or NGC, and that if you try enough times it probably will get into an MS65 holder. Please note, the straight forward pictures of the coin were taken just to show the contact marks of the coin, and do not at all look like the coin in hand if you looked at it in a similar fashion. Also, the scrape that appears behind Liberty's head in one of the angled photos in on the slab, not the coin. Price: $795
