Question about '93 Finest Refractors

Hey guys, I have no familiarity with this issue. Did they make refractors for every card in the base set? I picked up some Greenwell base cards from the set today and was wondering if they made a refractor.

Thanks as always!

Yep, they made supposedly between 241-299 (depends on who you ask) refractors of each player in the set. The set totals 199 cards...

Greenwell is actually a fairly tough card in 1993 Refractor. I don't have any extras right now. If you're serious, I could get one fairly cheap in a week or so. Thanks, Josh.

    Josh,
If you also find a cheap BJ Surhoff refractor, please send me a PM.

I collect Vintage Cards, Commemorative Sets, and way too many vintage and modern player collections in Baseball (180 players), Football (175 players), and Basketball (87 players). Also have a Dallas Cowboy team collection.

Thanks Josh. "Fairly cheap" is a relative term. Like I said, I'm not famailiar at all with this issue or what these cards go for. What is fairly cheap when it comes to '93 Finest refractors?

    Thanks again.

    Hi Arthur,
Last week I won a badly off centered Greenwell refractor for $15. Add to that $3 for shipping and $3 for insurance.

Arthur, are you going to get all of these Greenwell's graded and start a master set? Or grade out only a basic set?

  • Hey Arny,

I'm going for a master set. I really enjoy the late-80s/early-90s oddball stuff and there's so much of it out there. It's gonna be tough because there is so much of it and I'll have to do virtually all self-submissions but luckily the Greenwell cards won't set me back much when I do come across them. It'll just be a matter of getting stuff in when the monthly specials are right. I get the feeling there will be a big sub headed PSA's way towards the end of this month. image

This has been really fun so far and I'm glad I started this. Everyone on these boards has been above-and-beyond anything I expected when I threw the call out and I'd like to thank everyone again. You guys (and gals image) are great!
