Uhh, beg to differ on that last point. Pennies especially have been "off the hook" over the last year and more (see Gregory sales and Bamford collections). Also the farthings sold in Colin Cooke's sale were eye opening.
Good copper pieces are almost crushing in price performance and demand. Even piece not from such collections are doing very well, and not just the premier dates/specimens. Even later date bunheads are performing well.
