This very nice 1954 proof set features a half-dollar, quarter and dime with attractive light
gold peripheral toning. The nickel is more of a medium gold with purple, blue and green
highlights seen under a loupe. The cent is largely untoned with some light haze on the
lower reverse. There are no fingerprints or hairlines, but some minute carbon spotting
(mostly only visible through a loupe) will keep these coins from superb gem status. I grade
the set PR65/66.
It's tough to shoot 5 coins at once through lightly scuffed plastic, but this will give you a
general idea - the coins look better in hand.
Price is $135 delivered/insured - if you don't like the set, I'll pay for the return shipping.
