<< <i>It would be interesting to see Rutgers win and what would happen >>
I don't, because at least now they are almost forced to take Louisville. If Rutgers wins, they're going to get screwed, just watch...

It would be a great way to stick it to the ACC to get a Big East team in the NC game!
Rutgers or Louisville could compete with, or beat, Ohio State, Mich U., Texas, So. Cal., Auburn, Etc. ???
No one knows for sure, but, maybe this is what makes college FB so interesting .

Illinois did, Ball State did, Texas Tech did, Washington did, Mississippi did.............competed at least! Any given day, you just never know. Even if Rutgers wins tonight, I don't think they should even crack the top ten. They've played nobody! It's the whole season and the level of competition that earns you a spot at the top.

Here in Louisville everyone's just worried about the BCS game. And tonight their saying that even if Louisville gets the win and has a perfect
season it doesn't mean they'll go to the national championship. Louisville needs to just concentrate on the game and not what might happen
down the road.

P.S. In your whole life, did you ever see a crowd run OFF the field like the Rutgers fans did when there was still 1 second left? That was a great aerial view.
ESPN- Too much focus on Rutgers. I'm severely convinced that ESPN has and always will be skewed.
Rutgers- How disrespectful can you be by running onto the field when there's still time left. Great win, but show some respect.
Louisville- You let them get to your head.
Officials- Learn to call plays.
I'm severely dissappointed with everyone all around.

You must be kidding! How in the world can you fault the fans for running onto the field with ONE SECOND left? Clock should have run out, IMO.
And, if anything, Rutgers gets much LESS respect from the media than they deserve.
The better team won.

Hmmm. That's interesting. As a neutral observer, I thought it was an awesome game, and it's one of the coolest stories I've seen in a long time. I could not be happier for the Rutgers fans. And I think when it's the biggest victory in the history of your program, running onto the field is allowed. Just my 2 cents.
clearly the BETTER team won. PERIOD.

Too much focus on Rutgers? C'mon, they were the story, people want to know about the underdog. What could ESPN do that wasn't said last week against WVU?
Disrespectful? Yeah, 18 year old kids run on the field and run off faster than the ref spots the ball.
Sorry your are disappointed, you missed a great game
By the way, I hope the grow a pair comment was in good fun. Don't be rude and nasty. Rutgers and Louisville played hard. Rutgers played harder. I'm happy to see an underdog win and that they can be proud of this even though it's against my team. I still feel that ESPN focused too much on Rutgers. I think that Rutgers out played Louisville tonight for a number of reasons. Louisville to this day refuses to improvise their offense. Brohm not only let them get to his head, but his line did a horrible job of protecting him. At the last moment when Ito missed and there was a call against Louisville, I really thought that he got back before a call could be made. But, I guess he didn't. Brohm had a hard time hearing what was going on and had a hard time calling plays because of the noise. I have to hand it to the fans for that one. Technically though, there should have been a 15 yard penalty for them running on the field. That could have given U of L one last chance. I'm dissappointed and I feel let down.
And by the way, if the situation were reversed, you can't tell me you wouldn't feel the same.
I retract some of my earlier statements due to the fact that I was really upset and needed to vent. Just don't tell me to grow a pair again.

It was a classic game to be sure. Now let's see how far up in the polls Rutgers will be ranked. Any guesses?

That sure was a great game to watch!!!
<< <i>LU was clearly offsides on that missed kick. I think it was amazing how quickly the fans ran off the field when they realized there was still one second on the clock. Gotta give them credit for being so obedient. As for the penalty that could have been called after the kickoff return, the officials did Louisville a favor giving them one last shot at the end zone, IMO, so it goes both ways.

I think Rutgers will BARELY break into the Top 10, my guess is #9 overall(with ND getting pushed up).

Louisville won't be ranked below Rutgers until Rutgers takes down WV(which WILL happen). I think that they'll be ranked right near each other. I think Rutgers will be #9 or 8 with Louisville right ABOVE them(what a controversy right?!).

1. Will Rutgers go to a bowl? And if so, which one and who do you think they'll match up against at this point?
2. Same question for Louisville.

I had amazing seats, 2nd row on the 45 yard line right by the student section behind the Lousiville bench. I have never heard anything as loud as the Rutgers fans in the late 3rd and all through the 4th when ville had the ball, and it defiantely had an impact.
The ending was so sweet for the fans. Years and years of dissapointment, embarrassment, talk of dropping out of 1-A..it was a perfect ending.
I felt like a kid; helping the students over the fence onto the turf after the field goal. I didn't run out with the throng and I guess that was my only dissapointment last night.

As far as them even making the national championship game, still do not think that will happen, should they beat West Virginia next week! No knock on the Rutgers team whatsoever, but does anyone honestly think they can compete with the Michigan/Ohio State winner? The winner of that game obviously gets the game! The college football games seriously needs a playoff system.
