Too blurred on the edges and corners to tell, centering looks decent though.

Is it already slabbed ? It is kinda blurry to tell if it has the detail to be a 9 or not.

what is up with the cap? is that just from the scan? and like the above poster mentioned to hard to tell the corners. centering looks like it may be within guidelines.

    Good for you.

Also looks like it's already graded and in a slab.... what's the current grade on it?

Even though the scan is fuzzy, it DOES look good!

ALWAYS Looking for Chris Sabo cards!

  • T/B centering? I'm not sure.

I am trying a higher resolution scan. It is in a holder already!! Scanning now be patient please!!! Should I "sharpen" the image?? I think that might distort the corners. Do you think just a higher resolution should be fine??
  • Sometimes just decreasing the overall size of the image will heighten the clarity. That might work.

Yeah, and don't pick the scanner up and shake it while it's doing the scanning...that may help image

Consider the price difference between selling a PSA 8 and a PSA 9.

PSA 8s average around $130 and PSA 9s average close to $500. ( based on my two year ebay analysis)

Centering looks good on your example

Here is a poorly centered PSA 9 for comparison: ( courtesy of the Lostdart Collection) image

Yeah the corners look like stright out of the pack, but now the t/b cebtering is questionable. Alos, it is sliding aorund in the holder a bit...good canidate for a "reholder"! My scanner is all screwed up now!

Looks nice to me. I am curious what the holder it's in now says.

Take a couple other nines from the '72 set and compare them with your Ryan with a 10x loupe. If you can see flaws on your corners that aren't present on the nines, PSA will probably see them too and put yours in an "8" holder again.

If there is no wear, you must resubmit.
  • Im taking it that its in a 7 or 8 holder, most likely an 8..............

    I'm guessing it's a 7.

Good guess but I wouldn't even think about a 2 grade bump unless I was gonna go to GAI image

  • If I send it... it's a 6! image

Have DSL or 4SC submit it for you so it comes back a 10!image

But seriously....Looks like an 8 all day to me.

    But I've been wrong before.
