I hate when this happens

Does anyone else have cards like this?

My daughter was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 2 (2003). My son was diagnosed with Type 1 when he was 17 on December 31, 2009. We were stunned that another child of ours had been diagnosed. Please, if you don't have a favorite charity, consider giving to the JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation)

Heck, I used to do that with my cards when I was a kid! image

I remember having a 1970 Gaylord Perry. He's shown as a Giant, but I scratched out "Giants" and wrote in "Indians" with a ballpoint penimage

Edited to add that I even used "whiteout" on a few cards to change the team nameimage

Back in the late 50s and early 60s we did this often only we changed the names on the cards so we would have a card of every player on a certain team when we would play our board games using baseball cards. Those were the days.

I had 1971 Gil Hodges (MGR of Mets) that someone had written "DEAD".
