How do I display pics?

So I just started my first registered set today. I'm all excited. It's great. I enter the cert #, no problem ... there it is. I add a pic from my computer, no problem ... loads up. But when I click on the little camera I just get one of those red X's in the small box.

My pic is 320 X 400 and the site doesn't mention anything about it being too big. This is driving me nuts. I know this is the same novice question you guys have to answer every time some newbie hops in and wants to start so I apologize.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Arthur

PS. I get the feeling this was a mistake. I'm already thinking about running to ebay and buying some already graded cards that I wouldn't have gotten before because they're a little high in price right now. Thank god I'm not married (no offense to all you guys that are) or I'd be in REAL trouble. image

  • Nope, it's still not up. I've tried deleting the pic and then adding it again and still nothing. image

It's a 1930 Wills Famous Golfers set. Nothing too popular. I've got 1 card up and it's a 6 and I'm currently the sixth all-time set image

    Arthur,

I think the site updates itself periodically.........I added pictures to my set the other day for the first time and noticed that they took about a half hour to show up.

  • The only way I know how is, when a picture is online to do the following.

1-Right click on the picture you want
    2-Go to properties and click
    3-copy Address(URL)
4-On the CU reply and/or new topic message text area click on the picture box located to the left of the http button
    5-paste

  • Yeah, I clicked VALIDATE and all that. I'll give it some time since I just resized the pic to be even smaller and added the new one. Thanks for the help, lostdart. This is infuriating.
