It's a little dark on the obverse, which PCGS may not like, so it's not a sure thing. Those images are tough to grade from. It does, however, look well struck, which is a definite plus at PCGS. I wouldn't bid on that auction with the hope or intention of crossing the coin though.
What will it cost to try to cross? If it costs $40 to try a $100 coin I'll wager not many people would go for that chance... Will it cross? I have no idea but it looks like a 65 to this non-expert.
It looks okay, maybe, but at essentially $110 for the coin including postage you really aren't paying much under Greysheet for MS65 and when you factor in the crossover attempt you will be above that level.
It's been taking me such a long time to find coins that I like for my set, I never really pay much attention to Greysheet bid and ask. Maybe I should. What is Greysheet bid and ask right now on an MS65 42S?
