One last strike before winter

Hit one of the faithful spot today and again it produced some decent coins.
Although I hadn't posted much I had not quit digging yet.
There still are some backlog finds that I dug last couple of months that I'd love to scan and post.
Temp's in the 50's here which is rare. It got even warmer when I dug up that 1916 Merc. Nope. It's not 1916-D.
These Mercs come in as number 14, 15, and 16 of the year for me.

At least I have lots of time to beep.
<< <i>That's gotta be the find of a lifetime! >>
I wouldn't say that but silver generally is my goal.
<< <i>That 1916 dime sure is in nice shape!..No mint mark huh?? >>
Nope, I checked numerous times. It would be real nice if it was 1916-D. A few grand the piece would bring easily.
<< <i>That must be a great silver spot!!!!!!!!!!! >>
I have been hammering this field pretty hard. So far, I found 5 Mercs, 1 silver Rosie, 1 silver Canadian 10 cent piece, 1 silver Washington quarter, 2 Buffs, and dozens of Wheaties. I've yet to hit all area.
<< <i>Boy, that silver sure looks nice. You have kind soil conditions, it would appear. >>
Most silver coins I found here are in great shape and I never had to clean most of them. The copper and bronze pieces, however, often take a beating from the soil and salt. Even the Buffalo nickels suffer from this soil.
Thanks everyone for your comments. I'll hit this spot again this weekend if the weather permits. We'll see what it will yield.
