Another Selling Question (foreign flavor)

Thanks Lostdart, by the way.

Hi,

Everybody was so helpful when I asked the question (me being a new seller) about somebody that was taking a long time to pay for an original A&G card. It did work out fine. Thank you all for telling me to be patient.

That being said, I suppose I'm asking a dumb question, but both times I'm asking are with unique cards. I'm selling a Suede TR Musial and somebody from Taiwan asked whether I would send there. Normally, I wouldn't think twice about it if there is positive feedback and it was a minor card. I mentioned that I would like to do the transaction via Paypal and he responded would cash be OK. Sounds fair enough, knock yourself out.

Cash is, I'm assuming cash and if I receive it and send the card, there you go, right? end of story. It's just that there has been a lot of chatter lately about shipments to Taiwan and I suppose I would like impressions/experiences/telling me I am being silly/etc.

Thanks in advance and this BB has been invaluable for me with information as I've jumped back into collecting after a very long break as well as amusement in reading some of the "discussions".

I would be leary of selling anything out of the country, ( canada being the exception).........but if cash payment arrived via the USPS, it would be hard to say No..........

That being said anyone who would send cash from Taiwan has to have a screw loose...........

The buyer would have no proof of payment and no recourse on his part.

I have people send me cash all the time from Europe and Asia for small (less than $20) purchases. My impression is that it's just cheaper than getting a Money Order, if they don't have or don't want to use PayPal.

Never had a problem or letter failed to be delivered.

I had a guy from England send me over $300 cash a few years ago. I have sent cards to several European and Asian countries with no problems.
