PayPal. Does it make a difference for buyers? Yes or no?

Many people use different PayPal accounts for this and that, for instance, a buyer's account and a seller's account! But if one is not a confirmed address, I highly doubt the others are either. It is either best to not ship to unconfirmed addresses, but if you do accept their business also, if you can afford to lose the money, do not insure, but if you do not want to lose the money, insure it! There is always a chance that one buyer is a snake bltch! All auctions I think will run $20+, I make insurance required and the buyer will pay for it in shipping charges.

Got scammed about 3 weeks ago for $460. Bought, what I thought would be a PSA 10, I was sent "raw garbage".

    File a claim with Paypal.

15 days later, I Paypal, refunded my $460!

    Do I like Paypal?

Paypal is much better now for buyers than sellers. IMO, though, it's a necessary evil for sellers to accept Paypal payments because there is no question that fewer bidders are willing to bid on an auction where Paypal is not accepted (unless they already know & trust the seller) and those bidders that do bid are probably bidding less than they would if Paypal were accepted (because you can use your credit card). The fees may be a bit excessive, but all merchants pay fees to the credit card companies for the convenience of accepting credit card payments, so how are Paypal's fees any different from that?
