Vacation --- though my laptop is here and unfortunately it's not just for CU Forum browsing image

Doing a couple hours of work a day until Sat.

Good news is it's still a free trip (FF miles + timeshare shananigan) and I don't have to use any vacation days (my job has "flexible" hours and I work from "home")...

In Kauai ---- so far I like it about 100x better than Maui (my only other Hawaii experience).

I put together a 30 card submission combined with another couple of board members and I'm testing out my eye on the '85 Topps Football and a couple more '84 Donruss cards. I do not submit very often at all because I'd rather go with the sure thing and not waste time and effort into hoping for a 10 and ending up with an 8. image

But, for some bigger money cards, it's definitely worth it. We'll see how they come back.

I'm still debating whether or not to use Lawnmowerman's 'hot boiling water peel removal' process...

Believe or not it works good. Pinnacle put out "Double Disguise" cards that had peels on them. I destroyed a Brett Favre card when I tried to remove it. I used the water thingy on another one and it came out perfect. It doesnt ruin the card, trust me image

I hear ya. I've dinged a few corners trying to remove those damn peels...I'm going to try the 'steam peel removal method'!
