What a waste, the kid was averging almost 100 yards first 3 games and now have gone away from him.

I despise the Clowns but have seen some of them on the tube this year.....

Charlie Frye (who is from my neighboring town) has absolutely NO protection at all. The boy is running for his life each and every play. He's lucky to get the ball off to ANYONE.

true, but Braylon was getting the ball a ton during the first 3 games, they barley throw him the rock now.

dunno if that is true or not.


I do think if the browns could get a decent O-line, that they could contend for the AFC east.

With Edwards & Winslow to throw to, Frye ought to have more than just 7 TD passes through 7 games.

The Brownies need to shore up that O-line, Andruzzi getting hurt doesnt help matters. The Browns have some good potential maybe they will play up to it someday...

I haven't seen him drop one pass and i've watched 5 of the 7 games so far. He made a incredible catch diving for the first down last week and also had 60 yards and a td..

I have season tickets to the Browns and there have been a number of passes he has either dropped or had bounce off him.......I think the judgement is still out on him as far as being a great receiver or even a good one. Winslow seems to be backing up his words but it seems everytime Edwards says something it blows up in his face......hopefully he'll have a good game tomorrow. Also I ditto what has been said by a few others, the Browns o line is terrible....you could have Marino, Elway, Unitas, Starr and Otto Graham at quarterback and they would be doing much better....

Correction to my post....Unitas, Starr and Graham...they WOULD NOT BE DOING ANY BETTER!!! Browns got torched when they lost their starting center first play of the preseason scrimmage....for those who don't follow the browns, that is exactly what happened, on the very first play they ran this year in the preseason Bentley went down...

I was just about to post on this. Next season, I expect the Brown to grow tremendously. With Lecharles Bentley and John Andruzzi at full strength I think it'll lend an easier learning curve to Charlie Frye.
