Need Some Help with Adding Pics to the Registry

Tonight I thought I'd upload some scans to my 41 Play Ball set.

It says that images can only be 100K (whatever that means). I am pretty much completely inept when it comes to computers. My question is this. How do I resize this image so that it's small enough to upload to the registry. Thanks for your help.

    Hi Scott
If you pm me, I'll try to walk you thru the process.

First off, what kind of scanner do you have?

i have that size in my reg.

the prob i encountered was naming the card.

    no spaces.

if i was to scan a mantle card from say 1965 id name the card 1965mantle

    not 1965 mantle

    now as for size

after you preview the scan a box will emerge and it will ask you "how will the scan be used" or somthing like that. i used 150 dpi and it worked fine.

i hope that i answered your question.

    Good for you.

The two guys always willing to lend a helping hand when I need it! I was scanning at 600dpi and when Steve mentioned he does his at 150 I thought maybe if I drop down to that resolution it would work......... and although I had to drop to 75dpi I was able to upload. Thanks for the suggestion Steve and thanks for the offer to help Mike.

You two are as good as it gets.

I'll post a link to my set once I have all of the scans up. Thanks again guys.

It took this idiot ( Me) awhile to figure out how to scan pics into my registry............the size issue and the no blank space/odd charecters just wouldn't sink in.............

After numorous attemps over the last year, it finally all sank in...........a couple of days ago......Now I am a scanning fool on my 72 Topps set.

I finally figured it out as well. It's tough being computer illiterate in this day and age! I posted a link to my set a few minutes ago. Maybe I'll start my 55 Topps set this weekend.
