Ireland is part of the Euro area now. There is no way they would be paying out winnings in pounds sterling.

I've won random European lotteries at least 3 times in the past 2 years. It always slips my mind to actually contact them and collect my winnings however. Most of the recent winning notifications have been caught in my spam trap.image
I collect Vintage Cards, Commemorative Sets, and way too many vintage and modern player collections in Baseball (180 players), Football (175 players), and Basketball (87 players). Also have a Dallas Cowboy team collection.

No lottery win for me, sadly, but I did win a $500 JC Penny gift certificate!

I never look at my spam folder, but I just noticed there are 3400 emails in there in the past 30 days. I have to say that Gmail's spam filters are nearly flawless. Of that 3400, maybe 10 made it through to my inbox.

I typically respond back to those emails with a "F your momma" I love it when they respond back thanking me for contacting them.
Next MONTH? So he's saying that if he wins, the best-case scenario is that he'll be paying for it two weeks after the auction ends?

Forget blocking him; find out where he lives and go punch him in the nuts. --WalterSobchak 9/12/12
