Some Barber Halves and Thanks

Just an excuse to start a thread and thank everyone for your thoughts, prayers, advice and bending an ear during our recent storm/flooding experience. Things are so much better here now; alot was accomplished in a very short amount of time, so for that we are thankful!!

I took advantage of some rare free time and the 'fall back' hour to shoot some pics of coins I've had for awhile and thought I'd post 'em, to make this legit. Thank you again to everyone who PM'ed and left notes on the boards from MFH's post.

I like the layout of those images, and nice coins! Sorry to hear about the flooding, but glad things are starting to turn towards the better.

    Hello Don,

Hope all is well, and I hope the creek stops rising.

    Dave

P.S. What a nice set of VF Barber halves. All are great, but the 97-O is FLAT superb! Thanks for sharing with the team. I also think your format is cool...good work.

    EXCELLANTE'

I have a weakness for circulated Barber halves, they just have so much "Character" to them ~warm & fuzzy~
Like the way you presented them also...mucho talent in all aspects.

Hope the wind is at your back now in the weather dept, Mother Nature can be cruel at times.

    Best wishes

    Don,

I have to agree with Dave99B, I also like the format of your images.
The lighting you used works well for the circulated Barber halves too.

Just checking in at lunch break (on a Monday, too!), glad you liked the pictures. These Barbers worked for a while and then retired with a little bit of meat left on the bones. I 'stole' the format from Tyler Child and just moved the slab shot to the center. Imitation is the highest form of flattery, gotta love Tyler's pics. Still working on the lighting....getting closer, but they are very close to in - hand look.

I link some URLs below to a few pictures which are off topic, so not inserting them here in the coin forum.

Thanks again and hope to be checking back more often,

Fantastic coins, and great images. All the halves are beautiful but the 1910 is absolutely gorgeous! Welcome back.

Great pictures! My favorite is the 1910, although the 1897-O is exactly the coin I was shopping for tonight.
