Rattler holder - another ebay high flyer MS62 $10 Indian

Wow. This one really surprised me. The MS62 1926 $10 Indian looked clean enough to be a solid 63, maybe even 64. Two bidders took this to 63++ land ($1425) Good old Centsles got beat out on this one. Last one I tracked he snuck out a win like he usually does. So if this only goes 63 what does the winner do? What it it goes 62? The left side of the obv photo is pretty much in the dark. The rest of it looks 64ish.

But I do have to agree paying $1425 to hope to make $200 on a downside risk of $300 is pretty inane. There's a return privilege I guess one can bail out. But it's poor form after 2 guys run the thing up to $300 above the next guy's bid.
The mine is bigger than yours syndrome.
Yes, MS63's had reached over $1800 back in May. I think they were as high as $2100. The 64's reached to $2800. All of it on manipulatoin by market-makers. What goes up fast, comes down fast in most cases.

I don't remember precisely, but that sounds about right.
<<Mark, I'll bet those CCE coins are on the very average to doggy side.

RR, those CCE coins might be doggy, but at least they are already in MS63 holders, something the Ebay piece might never be, for all we know. And, even if it up-grades a point, it's still a financial loser, which the odds and experience tell me, is a very bad gamble.
