Who knows anything about the new July West Palm Beach, FL (Summer FUN) show?

I just learned of its purported existence when checking the Heritage auction schedule for next year. Does anyone here have any specific information about it? Either way, at least you heard it here.image

    Here are the details.... FUN will be sending info packet out shortly to dealers... it is about 1/2 the tables of Jan show and selling quick

    This show is being designed to have a different feel then Winter FUN.... with more of a vacation type atmosphere.

    Dates are July 12-14th
    Dealer Set up Wed July 11 2pm to 8pm


    Heritage is the auction

    Hotels book up quick... The Marriott West Palm Beach is very nice... might be able to priceline it
    Most hotels provide free shuttle service to show and airport!!!

    The center is pretty new, well built, and parking for visitors is pretty cheap...last show I did there parking was $5

    Dealers there is a $50 discount if you book bourse by 1/7/07

    City Place with stores and restaurants is right accross the street...and the Beach is nearby!

    Just curious, how many people have had a good travel experience to one of the West Palm Beach shows? Personally, I'd much rather see a Summer FUN show be held in Tampa. I think that FUN has a stronger base of even non-collectors that know about FUN in the I-4 Corridor, than in Southeast Florida, but that's probally more opinion than proof... but I do believe Tampa would be a nice choice for a medium sized show. There's a nice convention center right downtown, with several nice hotels within easy walking distance and a couple more within a short drive. The airport is easy access from Downtown and there are plenty of flights in and out of Tampa International.
