Hmm the eagles are now 4-4...where are the eagle apologists for this game? The jags just got beat down by the texans, now the jags completely shut down the eagles?

your transitive property of football is flawed. the eagles beat down the texans week 1.

wind had alot to do with that game. eagles downfield passing game was non-existant. (if you noticed, brown got behind the jags dbs TWICE by tons but it was impossible to connect on a deep pass with 20-40 mph winds in the northeast*). jags ran the ball VERY well and wore down the bird d and they couldn't stop 'em.

it's the first loss of the season where they had no chance.

losing those close games is like pushing a 20 playing blackjack in a casino, you gotta win when you have 20, when you lead in the 4th quarter.
eventually, you're going to draw 4 and 10 and have to hit against a 10.

    you know what im saying.

but football is all about results.

*if you doubt the wind, look at the giants game who played in the same conditions. not an offensive flurry.

No one is doubting the wind.

But, both teams were playing in it...not just philly.

did you see the jags connect on a pass greater than 10 yards ?
thier running game was stellar. that was the difference.

I have no questions on either point, but it's a quarterback and coach's responsibilities to make adjustments.

If you have ever played football yourself..like i did...after you lose 2 straight heartbreakers...like i did....you kind of get numb and complacent....as andy reid said they didnt prepare....FOOTBALL is 90% mental and 10% physical...no doubt the eagles are good enough to beat anybody in the league on any given day...just like anyone can beat THEM on any given day....the eagles were not prepared MENTALLY to play this game...and tonight they know they didnt put their best foot forward.

    a non-apologizing eagles fan,

90% mental and 10% physical?? ah no you got the Andy Reid quote wrong, he was talking about donuts, and he said that any good donut
is 90% jelly and 10% donut....don't you all get newspapers up there??

Anyway you look at it, the Eagles blow. They were sooooo confident after those early wins against nobody and all that
"heartbreaking" losses and should be 7-0 crap. The Jags are the better team, Garrard is the better QB and even Freddy
Taylor the better RB. Philly has no defense and its 2 minutes later and Andy Reid is still fat and the only thing on his ring
finger is boston cream filling. oh and don't look now, but Philly is only 1 game ahead of the Packers!

    eat it Philly fans!
