First I thought it was going to be a 1921. Then I was looking at the reverse designer initials to see if it was one of those varieties. Then I was still looking to see what made it special.
Nice coin.
Edited to say: When I feel myself becoming a coin snob I have to step back and remember what I like about coin collecting.
My wife told me the other day that her grandfather showed her a 1873-CC quarter that he wanted me to look at and see what it was worth. She said it was in a holder with "XF" written on it.
After I just about laid an egg, she told me she was just kidding and had looked up an expensive coin while she was in the bathroom and thought she'd play a joke on me.

That coin made me do a much needed self check.

Reality check over here too, coins dont need to have that large intrinsic value to still be sought after.
