Ok. I'm pretty good at expaining things and understanding how things happen but I don't know how this could be. Notice that the writing on the flip is reversed too.
Is that all you noticed as being out of sync? How about the reversed position of the bust and the reversed lettering of the motto? It's obviously a mirror image of the coin. Could be that the coin was imaged with a scanner and that the settings of the scanner software are set improperly.
